David & Devine Shoot A Video - and the video is to star Mariana!

Who are David & Devine?

Piano virtuoso Dave Yaden, who has written, recorded and performed with the likes of One Republic, Josh Kelley, Lady Antebellum and Eric Hutchinson; and soul diva Candace Devine, former backup singer for Christina Aguilera, have joined to form the latest "Romeo and Juliet" of rock/soul.

David & Devine are currently in the studio recording their first EP and also teaming up with Mariana Klaveno (HBO's True Blood) to shoot their first music video.

So to shoot their video, Dave and Candace have to raise enough money to pay for the video, the equipment etc. Mariana is a big fan of their music (and who wouldn't be!) along with music professionals that are donating their time to make this video free of charge.

Dave and Candace explain what it's all about in the video below:

Dave and Candace say:

Hi there! We are a band called David & Devine. We're getting ready to shoot our first music video and the most exciting part is that we have Mariana Klaveno (Lorena from HBO's TRUE BLOOD) ready to star in it! We know, so fabulous, you can't imagine how lucky we feel that she is a fan of our music and wants to be in our video!

ALSO!! Cullen Wright, up-and-coming special effects master in Hollywood of Cypress House Productions, will be directing AND designing special breath taking visuals for this video that require we shoot an entire day in a green screen studio!

The cost of that studio, another studio, food (we must feed our insanely awesome free hard working cast and crew), and insurance to film, puts us in a position where we could really use your help! Cullen's production team made a "real cost" budget allowing us to see that our video would normally cost $60,000-$70,000. But, due to EVERYONE involved generously donating their time and resources, we can get it done for about $7,500!

Sadly, our band David & Devine, (Dave Yaden and Candace Devine) is not indepedently wealthy as we are musicians (haha need we say more) and don't have the extra funds ourselves. Our sound you ask? We are told if Aretha Franklin and Elton John had sung together as a duo you'd have David & Devine.
